Called 2 Care Ministries History
In 2020, rising overdose rates and increasing HIV cases in Wayne County led to the expansion of harm reduction services across Out-Wayne County. As outreach efforts grew, so did the need for accessible, community-based spiritual support.
In response, Called 2 Care Ministries was established as a faith-based extension of this work—bringing prayer, encouragement, and spiritual resources directly to individuals where they are. Many of those we serve do not feel comfortable in traditional spaces due to stigma and past negative experiences, so we bring faith and support to them.
Guided by compassion and a commitment to meeting people without judgment, Called 2 Care Ministries creates space for trust, connection, and healing—supporting individuals on their journey at their own pace.
