THE ROLE OF EDUCATION
IN PREVENTION

Prevention requires many strategies, but education is one of the most powerful. It raises awareness, teaches healthy coping skills, fosters open dialogue, supports early intervention, and strengthens communities. At SOOAR, we use education to equip individuals and families with the knowledge and tools to reduce risk, break stigma, and build healthier futures.
