SOOAR REGISTRATION POLICIES AND FAQS

Please find all our policies and guidelines for participation/attendance below.  Many are related to the many frequently asked questions we receive and we hope this directory will help answer any questions you may have.

We encourage you to contact us if your answer is not covered or you need personal assistance.

Please Note:  It is the responsibility of the participant to seek approval for certification.  While many states/agencies do accept our training programs, we realize that as requirements change, we must insist that all participants check with their local certification board before registering and attending a training.

REGISTRATION POLICIES AND FAQS

If you miss any portion of a Training, for any reason, you need to speak with your Authorized Facilitator immediately. It is up to the Facilitators' discretion how the material missed may be made up and this may include a make up of time missed at an upcoming class.  CE Awards will be held until the missed time has been completed to the Facilitator's satisfaction.  SOOAR cannot award partial CEs.

SOOAR relies on accurate attendance counts to make important arrangements for our Training Programs. If an attendee needs to withdraw from a training program, they must inform us in writing via email. Refunds will be available for cancellations within two weeks of the training program.  No exceptions.  Please take this into account when you sign up for a training program. If you have canceled ahead of that time frame, but have received training materials, your refund will be less than the amount of materials.

We cannot refund payments made by credit/debit cards regardless of when you cancel your training.  We can only offer a credit towards a future offering.

You may request to be added to another training date instead of canceling. Please contact info@sooar-nonprofit.org for any questions regarding a refund or a change in training date.
